Guardians of the Galaxy set to team up with the Avengers in ‘Infinity War’

The Marvel Cinematic Universe will clash in grand outer-space fashion in 2018’s ‘Avengers: Infinity Was’ when the Guardians of the Galaxy do a mega-team up with ‘Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ the Avengers which was confirmed this week by the voice of Groot, Vin Diesel. The ‘Fast & Furious’ star leaked the expected meetup during a live Facebook video where he was celebrating his fan page reaching 100 million followers. Marvel has yet to confirm the mash-up of the two superhero squads but it’s been widely expected since a multi-movie roll out over the course the next few years was announced in 2014.

‘Avengers; Infinity War’ which will be directed by Anthony and Paul Russo who previously directed ‘Captain Amerca: Winter Solider’ and ‘Captain America: Civil War’. The stories of inner turmoil among the Avnegers team in ‘Civil War’ will roll into the largest scale battle in the MCU has seen thus far, which is massive undertaking as it will balance over a dozen different superhero characters in one story over two films. The stars of MCU teased the film as a massive culmination of the Marvel heroes against one ominous threat: Thanos. Plans for the film were first revealed in 2014,so with this GoG news just now,  the anticipation will continue to build.
