Gorillaz is releasing a new album next month called ‘The Now Now’

Gorillaz returned from a long absence with ‘Humanz’ last year, and instead of returning into the shadows the animated musical collective lead by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett is coming out with a new album called ‘The Now Now’ on June 29th. According to Consequences of Sound, the release date was confirmed on Instagram by Hewlett’s wife, Emma. The album has also been teased on the website thenownow.tv .

Meanwhile Gorlliaz’s character 2-D was seen in this t-shirt saying “NO MORE UNICORNS” which was posted by Hewlett.
