OCTOBERFEST TIME! Another excuse to drink beer in Chicago.

Beer, brats, bands, and all things Bavarian take over the streets outside St. Alphonsus Church, with nightly craft beer tastings held inside the church’s very own beer hall. Yes, you heard that right. BEER HALL!

Pull out the lederhosen! One of Chicago’s most popular celebrations of fall and all things Bavarian — Oktoberfest Chicago at St. Alphonsus — returns for its 17th year of seasonal revelry. Oktoberfest at St. Alphonsus has grown tremendously since its inception, expanding from a parking lot in West Lakeview into Southport and neighboring streets for 3 days of beer, brats, bands, and all things Bavarian. The ever popular Craft Beer Night takes place Friday and Saturday evenings in the parish’s festive German Beer Hall, and two stages host some of Chicago’s favorite festival bands including 16 Candles, Polkaholics, and American English.

Kinderfest is available for family-friendly fun on Saturday and Sunday until 5:00 PM.

Friday: 5 – 10 PM
Saturday: 11 AM – 10 PM
Sunday: 11 AM – 7 PM
