Navy Pier getting ‘largest rooftop deck in the nation’

Navy Pier’s adding a massive rooftop lounge:

  • “Offshore” says it’ll be the biggest rooftop anywhere in the U.S.
  • GM Bob Amick tells the Chicago Tribune the spot will “easily hold 1000.”
  • The rooftop will have a 60-foot bar and seven fire pits.
  • It will be open year-round, fully enclosed for the winter.

Navy Pier is still a bit of a tough sell for locals, but did they say 60-foot bar?
