A great-grandfather literally took his love of Burger King to the grave

Lenard Durkin died at the age of 71, but before he passed he had one last request.

He told his son that when the time came, be wanted his favorite snack to be placed on top of his coffin. So before they went to bury him, their hearse made a stop at a Burger King drive-through to order a double bacon cheeseburger.

Costumers at the Leeds, England Burger King were in for a real surprise seeing the hearse.

But Durkin reportedly would visit the Burger King after stopping by his wife’s grave, so it has a sweet little backstory.
His son also says how his dad has a great sense of humor, which it seems he held onto till the very end.
