Alex Trebek can’t say ‘genre’ and we have video evidence to prove it

If you’ve never noticed the way Alex Trebek pronounces the word ‘genre’ then we apologize, because it’ll be the only thing you’ll hear while watching Jeopardy from now on.

Is that a french pronunciation? Does he know he sounds so pretentious?  Why does he have to add so much mustard to that word?

Most likely, this is just part of Trebek’s master plan to get inside our minds.

We’re onto you Alex.
