Eddie Murphy set for a big comedy sequel on Netflix

It’s one of the more memorial action-comedy film series of all time. Beverly Hills Cop saw Eddie Murphy ride his huge stardom from stand-up specials and ‘Saturday Night Live’ into a wise-cracking rule-bending detective. Murphy is returning to the series in a future release on Netflix according to AV Club.

Murphy last played the role of Axel Foley in 1994 in Beverly Hills Cop 3, and the comedy legend went on to say it was bad. So after the recent success of his Netflix film about 70’s counter-culture icon Dolemite, this seems like fun spin on a nostalgic piece. Murphy has a big deal with the streaming service to put out stand up comedy specials which is also heavily anticipated.
