Lawsuit over Nirvana smiley face is answered — with another lawsuit.

A famous clothing designer has hit back at the Nirvana estate of the use of a famed logo.  More on that in a moment.

But first, Francis Bean Cobain has made her “Kurt Was Here” clothing line available across ALL Urban Outfitters this weekend, making the six t-shirt collection more accessible than ever.  You can check out the designs below:

Meanwhile, a development in the lawsuit over Marc Jacobs apparent use of the famed Nirvana smiley face:  he is counter-suing Nirvana LLC — claiming the band’s copyright registration is “invalid and unenforceable.”  We’ll see how that plays out.  — [eric]
