Why is Nicolas Cage the face of an anti-poop crusade?

Roanoke, Virginia — is not too terribly different than most of Chicago, it seems.

This east coast city is not immune from the problem of irresponsible dog owners who don’t pick up their furry friend’s — deposits.

Now, for whatever reason, it is a photocopied face of Nicolas Cage that is being planted in the careless turds to help bring attention to the issue.

Is it because Nic Cage is a terrible actor?  OR….could it be that Nic Cage is GOOD at being a terrible actor?  We may never know.  — [eric]
