‘School of Rock’ star faces four felony charges

Former “School of Rock” actor Joey Gaydos Jr. is facing felony charges in Florida for allegedly stealing guitars.

Police claim that Gaydos would go to music stores, ask to test out expensive guitars, then leave without paying and attempt to get money for the instruments at pawn shops.

The 27-year-old had been caught trying to pawn a $800 blue Les Paul Epiphone Prophecy, a $699 black Fender Stratocaster, and a $1,900 Gibson Les Paul.

Cops say he admitted to the thefts and blamed them on a drug problem but the former actor pleaded not guilty to the charges in court.

TMZ posted a video that the police released, with footage of Gaydos holding a guitar and making his way to the door at Troll Music store.

Joey Gaydos Jr. played the lead guitarist alongside Jack Black in the 2003 film.
