Kurt Cobain pizza plate sells for over $20,000 at auction.

You may have seen that the cardigan worn by Kurt Cobain during his last professional photo shoot — fetched right around $75,000 at auction last week.

What you may not have seen?  A pizza plate that Kurt ate off of went for just under $23,000.

Now to be fair — it was a pizza plate that Kurt ate off of, flipped over, and wrote out the set list for a 1990 Nirvana show at the famed 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.  So, not just a food delivery device.  But still — that’s crazy.  Not quite as crazy as these other celebrity items sold at auction.   — [eric]
