Zach Galifianakis is not the “nodding meme guy”

So you know this meme.

Who do you think that is nodding his head away? Most have probably been thinking how it’s Zach Galifianakis. Well, turns out it’s not.

The man nodding his head is actually Robert Redford, and the meme is from the 1972 American western film, Jeremiah Johnson.

This “nodding meme guy” has been a thing since around 2012 and some people are now finding this out, all thanks to Splinter.

Twitter users expressed their shock to not knowing all these years.

Many other users stated how they knew this or expressed how one could even make this mistake, but it’s honestly a simple mistake. You have to see the similarities.
