Local H is celebrating 30 YEARS this year, a hell of an accomplishment that most bands never see. Let alone, a band continuing to put out solid music, the latest possibly their best yet.
Just announced: LIFERS, album #9, will be released April 10th. Produced by the legendary Steve Albini (Nirvana, Cheap Trick) and the band’s longtime accomplice Andy Gerber, the record features mixing by J. Robbins, and contributions by an array of respected friends and guests, including Juliana Hatfield, John McCauley (Deer Tick), and John Haggerty (Naked Raygun, Pegboy).
Today also happens to be the 25th anniversary of their debut album Ham-Fisted and WE get a present!
Strap yourself in and give ‘Turn The Bow,’ the first single from LIFERS, your full attention. Scott and Ryan have outdone themselves.
THE RIFFAGE, MY GOD THE RIFFAGE.
Tune into DEMO 312 Sunday starting at 10p, James VanOsdol has more H goodies in store for you.
