It’s been three years since we lost Chester Bennington

Wow where does time go? It’s really hard to believe it’s already been three years since the world was froze by the chilling news of Chester Bennington’s death. And for it to happen on Chris Cornell’s Birthday is just another reminder of how important mental health is.

We all struggle, we’re all human and we all deserve a chance to live a happy life.

If you find yourself struggling in any way please do not be ashamed or afraid of reaching out to someone for help. You may feel alone and that nobody cares but trust me from my personal experience, people care. WE CARE!

Here are some mental health resources that have helped me in the past if you ever find yourself needing them.

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline – 1-800-273-8255

Text 741741 for a 24/7 crisis text line – a live, trained crisis counselor receives the text and responds quickly.

No Shame On U is an amazing resource for free and local information. http://www.noshameonu.org/chicagoland

I am an open book and am always willing to listen, walk, talk or just hang out if you ever need it. Find me on all social media at KQXJUSTIN and let’s look out for each other.

Be well friends,

Justin
