Everything You Need to Know About the New CDC Guidelines

The CDC announced on Thursday afternoon that fully vaccinated people who are two weeks removed from their final dose will no longer need to wear a mask in most indoor and outdoor settings. Social distancing guidelines will also no longer be exercised by those that fall into that category. They recommend that those with weakened immune systems continue wearing masks when at all possible.

This is our best shot to put the pandemic behind us. For those that have yet to be vaccinated, the city of Chicago can answer any possible questions you might have about the process here. Despite the difficulty to secure vaccine appointments at the start of spring, Chicago is now accepting walk-in vaccinations around the city.
